Apply 3-6 oz in 2 gallons of water per 1000 sq. ft. or irrigate immediately after application if lower carrier volumes are used. Apply monthly beginning at least one month prior to the onset of stress conditions.

  • Best applied during periods of sustained heat or dry weather.
  • Should be applied prior to and through the onset of drought.
  • Can reduce instances of localized dry spot.
  • Can be applied through a hose end sprayer.
  • Can be mixed with most pesticides and fertilizers.
  • MUST be irrigated in with at least a 1/2” of water immediately after application.

Ammonium Sulfate

Ammonium sulfate is an ideal nitrogen source that tackles two birds with one stone: ammoniacal nitrogen for an immediate feed with great response in cold and warm weather, as well as sulfate which has been shown to increase tissue concentrations of iron. When used as a primary nitrogen source, AMS has a mild acidifying effect on soil which is also a benefit for soils with neutral to high pH.

Ammonium sulfate is compatible with all other Lawn Supply Company soluble powders and liquid products.

Dissolve 8oz of Ammonium Sulfate in 1 or more gallons of water to be applied to 1000 sq. ft. Higher rates can be used if more water (carrier volume) is used at time of application.  DO NOT Exceed 1lb/1000 sq. ft

Foliar uptake occurs very rapidly and ceases once spray has dried on the leaf blade. At this time, the application should be watered in.

pHixORR is a dual purpose product for hard water treatment that aids in dissolving soluble fertilizers as well as dissolves excess carbonates and bicarbonates in the soil. Excess carbonates and bicarbonates can create tight and restrictive soil. Hard water can make it more difficult for soluble fertilizers to full dissolve and go into solution.

SOIL APPLICATION

pHixORR applied at 1.5oz/1000 sq ft. and watered with approximately one inch of water can help manage excess carbonate and bicarbonate (including Calcium and Magnesium) levels within the soil. Repeat applications monthly during the growing season.

WATER TREATMENT

For spray tank water treatment, add .5oz per gallon to help soluble powdered fertilizers dissolve completely.
