Seeding Rates: 3 pounds per 1,000 square feet for new lawns. For overseeding existing turf seed 1-2 pounds per 1,000 square feet. (Do not overseed other grass types)

Establishment: Warm season bermuda grass should be seeded when daytime temps are consistently 80 degrees or higher.  The warmer the soil temp, the quicker the germination if irrigation is provided.  This is generally 7-21 days.

Royal Bengal Bermuda: Very dark color with quick establishment and recovery from traffic. High turf density helps to crowd out weeds.  Tolerates high heat as well as drought.

Mirage 2 Bermuda: Attractive green color that is disease resistant and greens up quickly in spring. Developed for increased cold tolerance and resistance to winterkill. Excelled drought tolerance.

Rio Bermuda: Top rated seeded variety with quick spring green up and is #1 rated in NTEP for establishment. Dark green with a fine texture that produces a very dense turf. Excellent cold and frost tolerance.
